BIO:
Mark Bruce is the president and founder of HiTechPR
, a Rye, New York based communications firm specializing in branding,
analyst, customer and media relations, and product and service
launches. His clients over the last 25 years have included divisions of
Litton Industries and IBM, Thomson Communications, Hyperion Software,
Tadiran, Panafax, and industry experts in many professional fields
including Dr. Shaula Yemini, the former head of the IBM Watson
Networking Lab and Ivar Jacobson of Objectory.
In 2004-2005 he was the recipient of five international PR awards,
including three first place media relations distinctions, in the
business-to-business, technology and product launch categories. Mr.
Bruce's firm also swept the Business Marketing Association awards as
well winning first place in the PR and collateral categories for the
launch of ISP AppliedTheory. Mr. Bruce currently teaches media
relations and publicity techniques at the graduate level at NYU and
lectures at Iona College, NYSIA, and DPMA chapters. His pro-bono
experience includes founding Computers for Kids, a computer recycling
program for Operation Head Start and fundraising for Amnesty
International. He holds a B.A. in Dramatic Literature and
Communications, an M.A. in Public Relations and Corporate
Communications and a certificate in Investor Relations from NIRI.
